 Valve fittings for LPG cylinders of up to and including 5 litre capacity are regulated under the Gas Cylinders Rules, 2016, notified via GSR 1081(E) dated 22 November 2016, replacing the earlier 2004 Rules. The Rules were first published as Draft GSR 779(E) dated 13 October 2015, and later updated by the Gas Cylinders (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
