Objective & Scope
The objective of IS 710:2010 is to regulate the manufacturing and performance of marine-grade plywood. The scope covers requirements for resistance to delamination, bending strength, water resistance, and durability under marine and humid conditions.
Products Covered
- Marine-grade plywood for shipbuilding and marine structures
- Coastal construction applications
- Furniture and paneling for wet or humid areas
- Plywood used in industrial and transport applications exposed to moisture
