Insect Killers are covered under the Safety of Household, Commercial and Similar Electrical Appliances (Quality Control) Order, 2025, notified by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry via S.O. 2232(E) on 19 May 2025, under the BIS Act, 2016. This QCO replaces the earlier notification S.O. 4098(E) dated 17 September 2024, making BIS certification mandatory.
