Notification
Copper has been notified under the Copper (Quality Control) Order, 2023, issued via S.O. 3847(E), dated 31 August 2023 by the Ministry of Mines under the BIS Act, 2016. This Order was later amended twice:
- First Amendment: S.O. 4796(E), dated 3 November 2023, extended the enforcement date to 1 June 2024.
- Second Amendment: S.O. 1901(E), dated 3 May 2024, further extended the enforcement date to 1 December 2024.
