Adapters for household and similar electrical appliances were included in the Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012 through S.O. 2742(E) dated 17th August 2017, with enforcement from 17th February 2018.
They were subsequently re-notified under the CRS Order, 2021 (S.O. 1248(E), dated 18th March 2021), effective 18th September 2021, with related amendments in March and July 2021.
